Having same issue on my 2015 Acura RDX. Tried this method but it didn't work unfortunately. Did research and I was about to order and replace the air blender actuator but one commenter said check the refrigerant first before ordering parts. Took it to a mechanic and he recharged it for $120. Lo and behold, AC now blows ice cold air on all vents. Thank God! Mechanic joked: if you get sick, don't blame me😁

You set max temperature just on one side for 5 minutes. Is it depends on what side is blowing cold and what side is blowing hot air? My case is that left side is cold air, and right side blows hot air. Thanks

I'm 73, been on this since I was 25. Been doing this method for 11 days, it seems I'm spraying more often as the bottle gets diluted. Hope the spray holds out for the 30 days it takes to get off the stuff. Thanks for posting, I've read the success comments. Hope it works for me.

Sounds good also if you heat section a little with lighter and cut thru heated section minimizes fraying.

I've got a 2013 Dodge charger I had the same problem I tried what you said and it worked perfectly now they're both blowing cold easy fix I recommend anybody to try that first before you do anything else
